About the NEO Tracker
CLICK TO LEARN MORE

The NEO Tracker is Astral Vision's core orbital surveillance module — pulling live data from NASA JPL to map every near-Earth object approaching within the next 7 days, combined with a real-time orbital density simulation across LEO, MEO, and GEO shells.

What it tracks
  • 27,000+ debris fragments ≥10cm currently in Earth orbit
  • Near-Earth asteroids and comets — distance, velocity, size, and hazard classification
  • Potentially hazardous objects flagged in real time with risk scores
How it works
  • Astral Vision's light scanners measure each object's speed, angle, and albedo
  • That data feeds the AI which plots trajectories accounting for Earth's gravity
  • Conjunction alerts fire when any object comes within a 200km threshold of another
  • Operators receive advance warning with time to plan avoidance manoeuvres
If something is heading for a collision — what then?

Satellites have small thrusters specifically for collision avoidance. If Astral Vision flags a threat days in advance, the operator fires those thrusters to nudge the satellite into a slightly different orbit. The ISS has done this over 30 times. Early warning is everything — the sooner you know, the smaller the manoeuvre you need.

About the AI Console
CLICK TO LEARN MORE

The AI Console is Astral Vision's interactive intelligence layer — a space assistant that knows the live orbital environment and tailors every answer to your career goal. Ask it what asteroids are approaching this week, how space debris threatens satellites, what orbital decay means, or anything else space-related.

How to use it
  • Set your career goal using the dropdown — Astronaut, Satellite Engineer, Astrophysicist, and more
  • Every answer is framed through that lens, making the data relevant to your path
  • The AI has live NASA JPL data loaded so it can answer questions about this week's approaching objects
  • Click any suggestion chip to jump to a question, or type your own
What it knows
  • Live asteroid and debris data from NASA JPL updated daily
  • Space situational awareness from ICRAR, CSIRO, ESA, and the Australian Space Agency
  • Astral Vision's own platform — how the light scanner works, what the data means, and where the project is headed
Why this matters

Most people have no idea what's flying above them or how serious the space debris problem is. The AI Console changes that — turning complex orbital data into conversations anyone can have, tailored to what they actually care about.

About Business Intelligence
CLICK TO LEARN MORE

Astral Vision's Business Intelligence module is the commercial arm of the platform — a subscription data service for satellite operators, space companies, and mission planners who need to know what's in their orbit before it becomes a problem. It's also the revenue engine that funds free educational access for schools and universities.

The problem it solves
  • Space debris causes over $100 million in satellite damage annually worldwide
  • A single untracked fragment at orbital velocity carries the energy of a hand grenade
  • Operators currently rely on limited government data with long latency — Astral Vision provides real-time predictive alerts
What subscribers get
  • Predictive collision mapping — 7-day conjunction forecasts for any planned orbital path
  • Off-course detection — flags satellites drifting from planned trajectories
  • Orbital decay alerts — estimates re-entry windows weeks in advance
  • Anomaly intelligence — AI detects unusual behaviour from any NEO interaction event
The dual mission model

Protecting a $50 million satellite is worth a subscription. That subscription funds a student getting free access to live orbital data. The business model isn't just commercially sound — it's what makes Astral Vision's educational mission financially sustainable without relying on grants.

About eVTOL Pathways
CLICK TO LEARN MORE

Astral Vision's eVTOL Pathways module takes the same AI and tracking technology built for orbital space and brings it down to Earth. The same system that predicts debris collisions at 500km altitude is adapted to monitor electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft flying across Australian cities at 500 metres. One AI platform, two completely different altitude problems, the same core technology.

What it does
  • Tracks domestic eVTOL aircraft across Australian cities in real time
  • Maps approved flight corridors in 3 dimensions, giving operators a live picture of the airspace
  • Uses AI to flag potential conflicts between aircraft before they happen — the same conjunction logic used for satellites, scaled to city-level airspace
  • Monitors weather-affected zones and corridor congestion, advising operators on safe routing
Why it matters
  • Australia's urban air mobility industry is growing — eVTOL operators are entering major cities
  • Safe domestic air transport needs intelligent infrastructure, not just aircraft
  • CASA and Airservices Australia are building the regulatory framework — Astral Vision provides the intelligence layer on top
The connection to space

The eVTOL module isn't a separate idea — it's proof that Astral Vision's core technology has applications beyond space. From debris in low Earth orbit to aircraft in low altitude airspace, the platform is building unified intelligence for everything that moves above us.
